Uranograph fw update 1.12
Another update already? Yes, I had some time between batches, and I continued updating the firmware.
This time, it may be a while before the next update, but I hope this one addresses several errors and improves the overall sound and instrument quality.
I've made many changes, but primarily, the issue with the potentiometer scratching sound seems to be resolved, and the controls are now smoother.
Delay time and shift no longer make that awful sound when turned.
Pan is now smoother with a better algorithm.
The main oscillator engine has been improved, allowing for much greater control over the timbre.
I've also fixed the sensitivity issue when pressing multiple keys and addressed several minor bugs in the menus.
Loop decay has been inverted as intended in the manual.
Now, at 0%, your loop will play indefinitely, while at 100%, it will be erased immediately.
Additionally, the decay settings will not affect the loop when you are not recording.
It appears that the p1/p2 amount feature was not working, and the modSpeed destination was also ineffective.
This time, you’ll need to update both the AUDIO and CONTROL CPUs.
In the AUDIO CPU, there was a small bug that caused inconsistencies in boot mode access.
So, when you are in the system MENU, hold the encoder over "update CPU" and then connect the micro USB.
It’s possible that the PC may not recognize it right away. Don’t panic; try this multiple times. Disconnect the micro USB cable, power off the Urangropah, turn it back on, and restart.
I apologize for the inconvenience. With this new firmware, that issue is also fixed, and future updates will be more consistent.
